A federated search already merges results into one list - Compare search does the opposite on purpose, keeping OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, and Crossref (or different disciplines/fields) in separate columns, each with its own summary card, so it's obvious where the sources agree and where one surfaces something the others miss entirely.
